What is the Foundation? The Foundations is a group of parents dedicated to raising funds for the purchase of much needed items and/or programs not supported by the district.
How much money have we raised? Since our formation, we have raised over $100,000.00 for Loma Portal School.

- Spelling workbook programs for 2nd grade.
- School Beautification projects
- LCD Video Projectors for classrooms
- XGA Document Camera for classrooms
- Lap Tops for 4th grade classrooms – goal is to get one in every class so that the classrooms become a “Digital” classroom.
How you can help? The Foundation is only as good as its volunteers. It is through the participation of our parents that we have been able to do as much as we have thus far. But, we always NEED NEW MEMBERS to allow us to continue providing the much needed support to our school. If can not commit to membership, you can still volunteer to help out with Foundation-related events or fundraising efforts. The Silent Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year and takes a great many volunteers to make it such a successful event. No matter the capacity, please consider helping us, help the children!
